Director, Editor and Producer - Dee McLachlan

The creator and a producer of the documentary has worked in the film industry for over two decades, having made documentaries and feature films all over the globe. Several of her films have been released theatrically in the United States and as a director Dee has won 12 awards internationally.
She won a Gold Award at the New York Film Festival in 1987 for the docudrama SILENT HUNTER.Other films include BORN WILD, starring Brooke Shields and Martin Sheen, and THE SECOND JUNGLE BOOK, released by COLUMBIA TRISTAR.

Dee, a parent, is now living as a woman in Melbourne, Australia.

A primary school teacher and Principal living and teaching in isolated rural Victoria for 37 years, Pat reached top levels in both Football and cricket and was a successful junior coach in boys' and girls' competitions.
After winning a battle with Cancer, Pat decided to transition and is now committed to helping the Transsexual community of Australia. She hopes to educate mainstream society through the making of this film. Being retired she has also had the time to conduct research and at the same time pursue an active roll in the community. The fact that Patricia is transgender has helped her to identify and understand the many issues facing the Transsexual Community.
